Day 1: Arriving at Kilimanjaro international airport

Upon your arrival at the Arusha Airport, your driver guide from Kuwa Huru Tanzania Adventure will warmly greet you and offer you a refreshing bottle of water. As you settle into the comfortable vehicle, your guide will take care of everything, driving you to Arusha Venus Premier Hotel, which is just a 45-minute drive to Arusha City Tanzania’s self-styled “safari capital.” During the ride, you’ll get a glimpse of the bustling Arusha City. Once you arrive at the hotel and check in, our experienced safari driver guide will give you a brief but informative briefing before you embark on your unforgettable adventure. Day 2: Full Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and depart from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park. The two-hour drive offers a picturesque view of the changing landscape, from the city’s urban jungle to the open plains and charming Masai villages. Tarangire National Park boasts the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania, making it the perfect spot to observe these majestic animals throughout the year. The herds can even reach up to 300 animals, providing an impressive sight.

Located approximately 74.5 miles (120 km) from Arusha city and southeast of Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park stretches along the Tarangire River and primarily consists of low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The park’s natural vegetation comprises mainly Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, both the river and swamps attract an abundance of wild animals.

The Tarangire River provides water all year round, and between July and October, numerous animals from surrounding areas come to the river to drink. Visiting the park during this dry season offers an unforgettable natural wonder and the opportunity to observe magnificent creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and various types of antelopes and gazelles. With a little luck, spotting a python is also possible! The area is also a haven for bird watchers, with over 550 different species, including the Masai Ostrich, the world’s largest bird.

During our game drive in Tarangire, we will take a lunch break at a special spot offering great views of the national park. Keep an eye out for any nearby monkeys, as they may be interested in your lunch too! After lunch, we will continue our game drive safari and search for animals we haven’t spotted yet, aiming to cross off as many animal experiences as possible on our list. At the end of the day, we will prepare to head back.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Today, your safari adventure continues with a trip to Serengeti National Park. On the way, you’ll pass through the stunning Ngorongoro conservation area, with opportunities for game viewing en route. Our destination is the Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife habitats, and the Seronera River, a vital water source attracting many of the park’s species. After an evening game drive, we’ll enjoy dinner and overnight. At Serengeti wildebeest tented camp. For a unique wildlife viewing experience, we recommend a balloon safari, offering an incredible way to observe herds of wildlife while silently floating above the plains. read more about Serengeti,
