Safari Details by Day

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara Safari

Meet our professional tours guide/driver in Arusha town, who will provide a short safari briefing, after which, we travel to Lake Manyara National Park. We will arrive in lunch time at the lodge. After lunch we will head into Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive park and one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of greater flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. We will get dinner and spent overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 2- Fully Day Wildebeest Watching in Ndutu Area

After breakfast we will start at 8:30 am for a full day Ndutu area. A striking characteristic of this area is the stunning acacia woodland, which is immediately surrounded by the short grass plains. Within this wooded area is Lake Ndutu – one of the Rift Valley’s soda lakes. At the height of the wildebeest migration, and when heavy rains have fallen, often lines of wildebeest can be seen crossing the lake. Accompanying the wildebeest are large numbers of zebra and Thomson gazelles. In the dry season, the game around Ndutu is much like game viewing in any of the southern African countries. In some cases it is still better and you can never take away the feeling of space and wonder that the Serengeti evokes. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 3- Full Day Gamedrive in Ngorongoro Crater

This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in crater the drive will drive back Arusha. For overnight and dinner at you hotel Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.
